Festival of Lights Manfred Kielnhofer, „Festival of Lights“ Berlin 2013, Wächter der Zeit vor dem Brandenburger Tor.
Ralph Light bediente im Berliner Dom eine Laserharfe und Wolfgang Fischer spielte dazu Saxophon: zusammen mit anderen Künstlern brachten Sie ihr „Lumissiomo“ -Konzert als multi-medial angelegtes Spektakel zu Gehör. Wer derweil das „Festival of Lights“ unbedingt vom Wasser aus erleben wollte, konnte auf einem „Lightboat“ zwei Stunden lang über die nächtliche Spree schippern. Zwölf Nächte lang war die Hauptstadt Schauplatz von Lichtkunst-Events. Für die Festivalbesucher, die jeden Abend zu den Darbietungen unterwegs waren, wurden die fünf rot gewandeten „Wächter der Zeit“ des Lichtkünstlers Manfred Kielnhofer alsbald zu vertrauten Erscheinung. Denn die fünf leuchtenden Skulpturen tauchten auf ihrer Tour durchs nächtliche Berlin nämlich Abend für Abend an markanten Plätzen auf, am Reichstagsgebäude ebenso wie am Brandenburger Tor oder an der Siegessäule.
